You keep all your graphics in the same folder as your page.
I also suggest that you give your graphic files descriptive
names.
In one year you will not know what "gif3.gif" is, but "MapUS.gif"
or
"BlueButton.gif" is self-explanatory.
In my cs101folder I have one folder for all my HTML programs, and
another for GraphicElements.
For my html page to get to the GraphicElements folder I use a
relative address
Go up 1 level, go down to Graphic Elements, go to the file.
