- DSpace Federation
- The first large DSpace was the one at MIT. Now they're everywhere

- Early English Books Online
- A joint U Michigan, Oxford U, CLIR, and ProQuest project to make the Short Title Catalog into SGML/XML texts.

- This started with a wonderful collection of older books scanned in high resolution, with page turning coolness. It has now explanded to a collaborative open project to be a library of every book in the world. Really. From the mighty brain of Brewster Kahle. Volunteers needed and encouraged.

- Includes British Women Romantic Poets, 1789-1832 (a collection of TEI-encoded texts).
