One goal of the Simmons College student chapter of the Society of American Archivists is to provide an entry point for students joining the archival profession. Toward that end, we:

• meet monthly to discuss topics of interest to students in the archives concentration

• act as a sounding board for students' ideas and concerns about the archives concentration and internship experiences

• host lectures and visit historic properties, special collections, and other repositories in and around the Boston area

• introduce and integrate new archivists into the profession

• develop leaders of tomorrow's archival profession.
