Matt and Nancy's UK Vacation - June 2005

Stirling Castle Cannon

In June of 2005, Nancy and I took a trip to England and Scotland. We started out in London and took a day trip to Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, and Bath. We then took the train up to York, England for a couple of days followed by another train ride up to Edinburgh, Scotland. Next, we braved the roads in a rental car to explore central Scotland. In about three days we travelled through Falkirk, Aberdeen, Inverness, down Loch Ness, around Loch Lomond, and all the way down to Hadrian's Wall in northern England before returning to Edinburgh. We enjoyed the sights, the scenery and even the English food(having a pint or two didn't count against it). It was a fantastic trip and I think we both would not mind a return visit at some point in the future. All told, we took over 400 pictures during our travels. Look below for links to PDFs of some of my favorite shots.
