Gabon


On the west coast of Africa, Gabon is a republic bounded on the north by Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, on the east and south by the Congo, and on the west by the Atlantic Ocean. Population (1984) 1,148,000; area 267,667 sq.km. The official language is French.
