The Bibliotheque Generale et Archives de Maroc, located on the campus of Muhammad V University in Rabat, is the national library of Morocco. It was founded in 1929. It has holdings of 600,000 volumes, 7,400 periodicals, and 30,000 manuscripts. The national library also publishes the national bibliography of Morocco.
