Final Cut Studio
We have upgraded to Final Cut Studio 2 this semester. This includes Final Cut Pro 6. Final Cut Studio is available on the following computers in LEF321:
- Ivy
- Talim
- Xianghua
Available Browsers
For those of you who don’t like Safari and Firefox or you’re taking COMM-244, there are several other browsers installed on the lab computers.
- Camino 1.5
- Firefox 2.0
- Lynx 2.8.6 (a text-only browser)
- Mozilla 1.7
- Opera 9.21
- WebKit
All of the available web browsers are located inside the Web Browsers folder in the Applications folder.
Quota Limits
Did you know that you are only allowed to store up to 1GB of data in you Comm Lab user account? Starting this semester there is now a menu bar item that monitors your disk usage and lets you know when you are running low on space. You will see it in you menu bar:
Quicksilver
Are you interested in an easier way to open applications and search for files in the labs? If so, try using Quicksilver.
To get started, just click on the Quicksilver icon in the Applications folder.
