Student Clubs at the SOM are run by and organized by SOM students. The MBA Office Staff assists with the transition from one year to the next by gathering names of interested students and by setting up each club in WebCT. Let's
start a Yoga Club! Tentative plans are to meet for 10 weeks during the Spring '05 semester on Thursdays from 3:30 to around 4:45/5:00 possibly in the Purple room at 409 Commonwealth. We will be able to subsidize the cost of the class with the club allowance, but there will be a charge, possibly around $50 for the semester ($5/class) depending on the amount of people willing to pay up front. Other arrangements can be made with the instructor (drop-ins or reduced fee depending on financial need). To get the ball rolling we need to know how many people can make a commitment. Please email sharon.dudelson@simmons.edu if you are interested, are able to make a 10 week financial commitment, and if the day and time works for you. Please respond by Monday, January 10th. Please note that this club is in the works so changes might be made according to the availability of the yoga teacher and the requirements of Simmons SOM.
