I touched base with Liz Greenberg with any questions I may have
about the Senior RA position.
I have reviewed the RA selection timeline, and both the ra and senior
ra job description.
My RA Application and essay have been completed and submitted to
reslife@simmons.edu by noon on January 23, 2009.
I have completed a project proposal for my interview.
I submitted my rD Evaluation form to my rd by noon on January 23, 2009.
My current resume has been submitted to reslife@simmons.edu by
noon on January 23, 2009.
I have signed up for one Individual interview with the central staff by
january 25, 2009. (To do so, please e-mail liz greenberg at greenbea@simmons.edu).
Bring a complete, detailed project proposal that you feel will contribute significantly to the success of the Office of Residence Life as a whole to your Senior RA interview.
The proposal should:
Address the goals of the proposed project and how this project will further develop the Office of Residence Life.
Include a proposed project timeline
Include the expected amount of hours each individual task will require
Be prepared to present in your interview a new idea for RA training that will help incoming first year RAs become better acquainted with an area of the RA position.
Be prepared to discuss the time commitments that you hope to have, including class load, in addition to the Senior RA position.
Please note that up to three Senior RAs will be hired for the 2009-2010 year, depending on the needs of the office.

Senior RA applicants are required to fill out the returning RA application in addition to preparing for the requirements of this addendum. Late applications will not be accepted. In addition Senior RA applicants must also sign-up for an interview with the Central staff in place of the RD interview.
