This month's InfoLink features tales from GSLIS grads.
Take a minute to look at some of the cool things you can do with a Library Science degree. Check out interviews with just a few of our esteemed alumni and learn about the not quite mainstream ways they interpreted the word "librarian".
Our Snapshot this month features new GSLIS grad and current Career Resource Librarian at Simmons, Cheryl Kohen.
Unfortunately the news is not always pleasent and it is with a very heavy heart that we report the death of Professor Allen Smith.

A Tribute to Professor Allen Smith
A few days after the news of Allen Smith's death became known a Facebook group dedicated to his memory sprang to life. There are now over 200 members of this group. Dozens of blog entries remembering Allen in his role of professor, farrier, peace-keeper and bow-tie-wearer are posted. No one really knows just how many lives Allen touched while wearing his many hats, but what we do know is that he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
