Carl Craig
perhaps the most universally respected producer in the techno universe. "One of the black musicians who developed this soulful, heavily percussive electronic dance music more than a decade ago." (Mike Rubin, senior writer at Spin magazine, in "Techno dances with jazz," New York Times (September 30, 2001): Arts & Leisure, Section 2, pp. 31, 32), a review of Herbie Hancock's album Future 2 Future in which Mr. Craig participates.
