About this page: This page provides description of and links to the web and electronic projects I have worked on. In cases where the links are no longer live, screen shots are provided.

architecture research - This was a collection I developed and presented to an architecture firm in New Hampshire (Lavallee Brensinger). They were interested in resources that might help standardize research projects in the office. Their plan was to take these resources and add them to the company intranet.

discover idea CD - The discover idea CD contains links and resources related to special education law and regulations. The resource is a web site on a CD. My role in development was to act as web master, designing look and feel, navigation, collect the documents included and reformat as needed, edit, write user instructions, coordinate art work and customize search tool.

information visualization - I'm very interested in the topic of information visualization. This three page site contains the structure for a presentation about Information Visualization given by Lars Klint, June DeLeon and myself in LIS 488 Technology for Information Professionals class at Simmons in Fall of 2005. The three of us put together the content, I built the site.

signetwork.org - In the summer of 2005, I worked for Technical Assitance and Consulting Services (TACS) at University of Oregon to help with the content development of the Signtwork website. I researched and added content to the site, in areas of evaluation, state projects and other highlighted topics. Additionally, I offered soem recommendations for how they mightproceed with technology to help build communication in their community of users (see signetwork technology page.)

signetwork technology - These are the project specific recommendations developed for the signetwork website and community.

silly girl - This site contains my own creative writing and material written by friends. It's for fun and to make my pals laugh.

teacher burnout - As webmaster for a grant funded site assisting western states with education policy, I often saw requests for information about teacher burnout. There seemed to be an information gap that might be filled by a page collecting some research based information in one place. To fill this opening, I created this page with links to free online resources.

web page development - In response to interest about CSS and XHTML Francis McConihe and I presented a workshop that was an introduction to XHTML and CSS. This page was put together to provide a collection of resources, based on sites I have foudn useful and suggestions from Francis.

xml class portfolio - This is the portfolio for my work in LIS 531F - XML at Simmons College. It is currently incomplete but will contain the bulk of my work in the course.
