CS327 Security in a Networked Environment


Explains the theory of cryptography. Covers techniques used by hackers to compromise a system and the defenses used by system managers to prevent these attacks from being successful. Includes discussion of public/private key technology, authentication, digital signatures, PGP, firewalls, Web Servers, TCP wrappers and proxies, viruses, and security management strategies.
