CS345 Operating Systems


 

Teaches the design, implementation, function and use of operating systems, including detailed study of the UNIX operating system. Topics include concurrent processes, system nucleus, memory management, I/O, the file system, resource allocation, scheduling, security, concurrency command processing, and shell programming.
