Dr. Chen is one of few library professionals who
has high-level networking connection with the leaders
in many fields. For example, in the high tech fields,
she has been one of the very few in our profession who
has been invited to participate at the yearly Multimedia
Round Table meetings since 1989, organized by
Prof. Martin Greenberger of UCLA. The following two
photos show the type of prominent leaders in the high-tech
industry and fields, who participated at the first and second
Round Table Meetings. They include Stewart Brandt,
Alan C. Kay, Robert W. Lucky, Nicholas Negroponte,
Jonathan Seybold, Robert Stein, John Sulley, Max Whitby,
and Robert Winter.
