Learn more about our contributors:
Dee Moore
Dee is a junior at Simmons College majoring in Social Work and minoring in Communications: Graphic Design track. Dee is the co-chair of Simmons' diversity organization on campus, Like Minds. Dee's interest in food comes from her love of diversity and multiculturalism. Sharing food and recipes is a great introduction to different cultures.
Danny Boucher
Danny is a college student who spends most of his time at college where he often cooks spaghetti for late dinner. His cooking doesn't get much better in the summer as he spends his summers working at a camp. Mostly his cooking skills come from half heartedly watching his mom cook and working at Panera. This means Danny holds little ability to truly cook but can tell you when you’re putting food safety on the line.
Mary Commisso
Mary has always loved to cook. However, she currently lives in a dorm, so she can't cook as often as she'd like to. She especially likes dessert and breakfast food (and of course, eating her creations).
Lauren Contic
Lauren enjoys learning old family recipes that have been passed down through many generations, as well as discovering new ones to add to the collection.
Helen Li
Helen cooks because there's only so much dining hall food a person can take.
Holly Ledoux
College has taught Holly many things... besides cooking. She has lightly explored recipe books and she plans on diving in once she lives off campus. She has made a pretty great steak dinner and of course mac and cheese from a box. Every time she steps into a kitchen something seems to go wrong, however she does enjoy making dessert. Enjoy!
Kate Stieper
Kate started cooking for herself over the last 2 years when she moved into her own apartment. She has worked many years as a restaurant server and enjoyed trying to recreate her favorite dishes.
Dane Groves
Dane Groves has recently been kind enough to donate his recipes to the Recipe Book project. He eats mostly healthy things (and lots of donuts) that some people think are gross. Dane says, "I've eaten at places like Longhorn Steakhouse, they just can't compete with my healthy yet tasty treats."
