Apple Crisp

I created this recipe when I wanted to make apple crisp for a friend's summer party, but wasn't satisfied with the recipes I saw online. I combined their best attributes and added some details of my own to create this tasty dessert.

Apple Filling Ingredients
- 6 apples, peeled and cut-up
- 2 tb. orange juice
- 2 tb. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 tb. flour
- 1/4 c. sugar
Topping Ingredients
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. flour
- 3 crushed graham crackers
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 stick butter, diced
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Butter bottom and sides of a 2-inch-deep square pan
- Combine apple filling ingredients
- Put finished filling into buttered pan
- Combine topping ingredients (use a fork to make sure it's crumbly)
- Sprinkle topping over apple filling
- Bake for 30-40 minutes (until topping is golden brown)
