Objectives
Students will be able to:
- Understand what an access point is
- Choose appropriate access points for resources
- Understand the variety of bibliographic relationships among entities
- Represent various relationships in bibliographic data
- Understand the basics of authority work
- Understand the process of establishing an authorized name
- Understand the need for and place of works and expressions data in bibliographic descriptions
- Apply the basic rule for establishing authority data and access points for works, expressions, and agents
