The "Personal Shelf" Page consists of Picture Books and Toddler Board Books that I believe are a great fit for storytimes and overall great reads for kids!
NOTE: This list is meant for storytimes between the ages of 1-5 years old. If they are more suitable for a specific age, they will go within that section.
NOTE: Some of these recommended age ranges for the picture books are ages 2 and above, but I find that the littles that come to my Storytimes are delighted when I read these stories.
For the books listed below, the age range is more a reflection of the length of the book rather than content.

Just like the nursery rhyme "Old MacDonald Had a Farm", this book follows the same pattern as the original but with trucks!
Kids can learn about all the different types of trucks, as well as some great illustrations to go along with the trucks. Great for the "Trucks" themed storytime.

Clifford the Small Red Puppy by Norman Bridwell
This picture book is the origin story for how the famous dog, CLifford, got so big!
This book is great for babies who like dogs and Clifford. Any Clifford book is a great resource for "Puppies" themed storytime.
