The HP LaserJet 9040 printer has been fixed and is now working normally. All printers in the CommLabs are currently working. Sorry for any inconveniences.

Broken 9040
The 9040 printer is temporarily broken. We are working to fix it as quickly as possible and will keep you updated about its status. We are very sorry about any problems this causes you.
- From the Menu Bar, select File > Print.
- Select the “lef304hp4250” printer and go into the mailroom (LEF-304) to get your project.
Printing 8.5x11
- Each student can use the Color InkJet printers twice free of charge for black and white printing. After that we have to charge the normal amounts.
- You may also use the copy and mail center or other venders.

Welcome back! Man the summer was boring without you around. I mean, there were no color printing problems, no mysterious liquids were spilled in a keyboard, and not even one person forgot their login information. No but really we missed you.
You should know: temporary accounts will only work until September 25th so if you need an account email commlab@simmons.edu ASAP. Also we now are using iLife '09 and the wonderful Lab Monitors will begin working on Sept 27th. Until then if you have a problem come see the Lab Administrators Alissa (chief Lab Administrator) or MJ (not so chief Lab Administrator) in L-319 with questions or concerns.
