A small, liberal arts, women's college, Simmons is a place where young women can grow from adolescents
to strong, independent adults. Among many of the experiences that have effected me over the last four years,
two stand out that have had profound impact on my personal growth and will always be my favorite parts
of Simmons . . .
Boston! Also affectionately reffered to as "Bean Town" and "The (other)
Windy City," Boston has everything to offer a college student. As Simmons is located right
in the heart of this fair city, Boston is at your doorstep and beyond. Living in Boston has
been one of the most valuable experiences I will take with me from Simmons . . .
In my junior year, Spring 2001, I had the priviledge to study in another amazing city: London.
As part of your four years at Simmons, the college, as well as myself and many others like me,
incourages you to take a semester abroad. Simmons worked with me to make my dreams possible
and I spend the best six months of my life studying in Britain's most historical and eclectic city.
