About Visions

Some citizens of Teyvat become worthy of visions, which enable the player certain elemental abilities. In this case, you are equipped with the knowledge of element-specific spells. Visions are bestowed to the utmost dignified citizens depending on their traits. Each vision is associated with a different element; Cryo, Pyro, Hydro, Geo, Anemo, Dendro, and Electro. Each element is also associated with an archon, which are gods that rule the different Teyvat nations.

Another feature of visions is the ability to resonante with each other. The following are the type of effects you can apply to enemies when players apply their elements. Each successful interaction deals an additional 1d6 damage.

  • Melt = pyro + cryo
  • Freeze = hydro + cryo
  • Overload = electro + pyro
  • Vaporize = hydro + pyro
  • Swirl = anemo + any element
  • Crystalize = geo + any element
  • Burning = pyro + dendro
  • Bloom = hydro + dendro
  • Electro-charged = hydro + electro

When creating your character, you may choose a vision and include a backstory of how you were blessed with it. You are granted proficiencies outlined on this page depending on the element you choose. Are you a noble fighter that resonates with the Liyue Geo archon Morax? Or compelled by the freedom of the Anemo archon and the nation of Mondstadt? Your story is yours to tell.
