I love what I am studying! I am an English/Communications double major, and an Art minor.

It may sound like a full load, but it's actually popular to be taking a double major in English and Communications.Of course that wasn't my intention for having these both as my majors. The media has always interested me, in all of its many forms - written publications, posters, television, film, audio, etc... I definitely wanted to study something related to the media, even though I wasn't sure exactly what field freshman year. As for English, I took AP English in high school and have always wanted to be a children's/young adult author and illustrator. Being an illustrator would vouch for my Art minor. I was also in Art AP in high school, and took private lessons for different focuses, such as oil painting, or sculpting.

Overall, I'm passionate about everything I am studying about. To make it even better, the departments of both majors have excellent classes and professors. I just started my art minor, so I'm not too familiar with how the Art Department is, but there's always room for learning!
