Conclusion
Crew does not get easier, no matter how long
you have been doing it for. As much stamina as you gain, you are continually gaining more, pushing
yourself as hard as you can. But it all seems worth it in the end. That feeling of acomplishment,
of how hard you pulled, knowing how strong you and your teammates can be, together. I think that is
why rowing is a way of life for so many people. It's that feeling you get, its absolutely addictive. I am
going to stay on crew for as long as I can. Since we've started, many people have dropped out, saying, "I
just cannot handle it." That is a reality, because balancing school, work, and crew can get pretty tricky, and
pretty exhausting. But I've made it my own personal challenge to stick it through. I still think I can
push myself farther.
