Nothing to do with your free time? Well, let me enlighten you with some
of my favorite things to do in Boston. From the Arts to Shopping, Theater to fantastic dining,
the problem isn't what to do but how to do it all!
The Arts! We have so many excellent museums in Boston, two of which are so close
you can practically spit on them from the Main Campus Building. The Museum of Fine Arts
and The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum are both FREE for Simmons women! Both
amazing places for fine art, good food, a relaxing atmosphere and wonderful places to study.
As a Simmons student, you must take advantage of the free admission and go . . . a LOT!
many great places to go, and so many cute things to buy, you need to get a second
job just to afford all the T fare! Two of my favorites are Cambridge Side Galleria and
Copley Place.
Boylston Street Theater Distict, there is always some amazing
show going on. Students can usually get discounted tickets too,
so its totally worth your while.
and do, on occasion. But Bartol (our Cafeteria) would do that to anyone! Ok, so the
food . . . Brown Sugar Cafe, only a short walk from campus. Wonderful Thai Food
and they deliver too! Marche, down by the reflecting pool and Christian Science
Center. An eclectic assortment of food, fantastic atmosphere and cute, foreign
servers! Yummy! Vinny Testa's, (or Vinny's Testes as many of us at Simmons
call it) on Boylston Street, down by the Prudential Center. Huge portions,
fair prices and wonderful Italian food. Hope you like them all as much as I do!
